How the credits work.
Most courses on this site are jointly accredited through the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine, which holds accreditation to offer credit across multiple disciplines. Each course has its own specific credit designations.
The accreditor.
All courses on this site are jointly accredited through the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM), a nationally recognized provider of continuing medical education.
PIM holds accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) for physician CME, with additional accreditation relationships covering physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, psychologists, social workers, and athletic trainers.
Who can earn credit.
- Physicians (MD, DO)
- Physician assistants (PA) and nurse practitioners (NP)
- Physical therapists (PT)
- Athletic trainers (LAT, ATC)
- Psychologists (PsyD, PhD)
- Licensed clinical social workers (LCSW)
Before you enroll: Credit types and hours vary by course. Most courses offer multi-disciplinary credit, but not every course covers every discipline. Check the individual course page to confirm the specific credits offered for your profession before purchasing.
Why these, not something else
Three things that make these different.
01
Built by a practicing surgeon.
Every course is written and presented by a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who sees patients and operates every week. Not a career educator, not a committee, not a branded-content mill.
02
Real accreditation.
Jointly provided through the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine, a nationally recognized CME accreditor. Credits count the same as credits from any major academic provider.
03
No filler hours.
Credit counts are honest. A four-credit course is four credits of actual content, not two hours of material stretched across four hours of runtime.
Common questions
Answers to what you're actually wondering.
Will my state board accept these credits?
Credits issued through the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine are accepted by state boards in the same way credits from any ACCME-accredited or jointly-accredited provider are accepted. Credit designations vary by course and discipline, so check the specific course page to confirm what credit type is offered for your profession before enrolling.
Which specific credit types does each course offer?
Each course page lists the exact credit designations offered (for example, AMA PRA Category 1 for physicians, AAPA Category 1 for PAs, APA Category 1 for psychologists, and so on). If a discipline you need credit for isn't listed for a given course, that course doesn't offer that credit type.
What's the founders price and who gets it?
The first 50 enrollees in a new course pay the founders price. After the 50th enrollment, the course returns to its standard price. The founders price is applied automatically at checkout while slots remain available.
How do I request group or bulk pricing?
Group pricing is available for practices, residency programs, athletic training staffs, and behavioral health teams. Email with the number of enrollees and which course you're interested in, and we'll send a quote.
How long do I have to complete a course after enrolling?
Course access details are listed on each individual course page. Most courses are self-paced with extended access windows designed to fit around clinical schedules.
What's the refund policy?
The refund policy for each course is listed at checkout and in your enrollment confirmation. If you have questions before purchasing, contact support.
Can my employer reimburse this?
Yes. You'll receive a detailed receipt showing the course title, accreditation, credit hours, and amount paid, which is what most employer CME reimbursement programs require. If your employer needs a specific format or additional documentation, email support.
Is there a printable certificate?
Yes. Upon completion and passing the post-course assessment, you receive a PDF certificate with your name, the course title, credit hours, the accrediting body, and the completion date. Stored in your account so you can download it again anytime.
